Frequently asked questions

My child is not "techy." Is this for them?+
Absolutely. Half the bootcamp is about thinking, questioning, communicating, and creating — not coding. Teams are designed to need writers, designers, presenters, and organisers, not just technical minds. No prior experience required.
Will this teach my child to cheat with AI?+
The opposite — that is the entire reason this bootcamp exists. Students learn when AI use is appropriate, how to disclose it honestly, and how to use it to improve their own thinking rather than replace it. Every student passes a one-on-one interview where they explain their own work — nobody can hide behind copy-paste here.
What does my child need to bring?+
A laptop (any working laptop with a browser is fine), a charger, and curiosity. Everything else — workbook, materials, lunch — is provided.
What if we don't have a laptop?+
Contact us — we can advise on affordable options or limited loaner arrangements. Don't let this stop you from asking.
Is the venue safe? Who supervises the children?+
With only 8 students, we maintain a ratio of 1 adult to every 2–3 students, a two-adult rule at all times, vetted staff, a written safeguarding policy (available on request), sign-in/sign-out pickup protocol at reception, and a first-aider on site.
What are the daily hours? Is food provided?+
9:00 AM – 3:00 PM, Monday to Friday. A healthy lunch and supervised breaks are included every day. Allergy information is collected at registration.
My child is 12 (or 17). Can they join?+
This cohort is designed specifically for ages 13–16 so the content and pace fit. Contact us to join the waitlist and we'll notify you when editions for other age groups open.
What happens on Demo Day?+
On the final Friday, teams pitch their projects live to parents, invited guests, and a judging panel. There are awards, a certificate ceremony, and plenty of photos. It is the proudest day of the summer — do not miss it.
Can I pay in instalments?+
Yes — a two-instalment plan is available: 50% to reserve the seat, balance due one week before the start date. Select this option in the registration form, or WhatsApp us to arrange.
What is your refund policy?+
Full refund up to 14 days before the start date. Within 14 days, we offer a transfer to the next cohort or a substitute participant instead of a refund, because seats and kits are committed at that point.
Which AI tools will they use?+
A curated, age-appropriate set of tools, supervised at all times, with accounts configured for safety. We deliberately teach principles over products — so what your child learns still works when the tools change.
What does my child get at the end?+
A Certified AI Navigator — Level 1 certificate, a digital badge, a personal portfolio page with their project and pitch video, their Starter Kit, and membership of the Navigator Club alumni community.
